To raise awareness and to widen the impact of the Community Outreach Programme, CCJ publishes and provides each Support Centre with appropriate and useful documentation, including: Empowerment (internal newsletter)This newsletter is produced monthly and is aimed solely at the CCJ staff, especially the Community Outreach Staff. It contains tips for more effective servicing of clients, highlights newsworthy legal developments as well as lets staff know about internal news and developments. Outreach (external newsletter)This has articles on the different legislation's and also measures the success of the Community Outreach Programme's work. Clients of the Support Centres are invited to contribute articles on relevant issues, as well as to share their experiences with other readers. Information postersThese are easy to understand, and cover basic information on the rights of victims, the duties of police officers and the duties of the courts under each of the different legislation's. Information booklets and flyersAgain, focussing on the different legislation's, the booklets and flyers are specifically for women from rural areas, and provide basic information that is easy to understand, using pictures and cartoons.
