Close up of some notes from a group discussion The Centre for Criminal Justice has consistently produced worthwhile materials for its target audience over the last five years. Media and resources have become a large part of the programme. As such, CCJ established its own Publications and Publicity Unit in February 2004.

Headed by Isabelle de Grandpré, the Publications and Publicity Unit will continue to produce materials that support CCJ's projects as well as network with others in the production of resources for their organizations. This will allow the Publications and Publicity Unit to fulfill its mandate of making the law accessible, relevant and user-friendly for CCJ's target audience.

The CCJ Publications and Publicity Unit is supported by various funders and through income generation for the sale of publications and services including; writing, editing, layout and publications management. The Publications and Publicity Unit also manages the collection of resources for its co-ordinators, its Resource Centre, the marketing of the programme, as well as a case database.
